Soul Search - Timon - Fanart

This is my first piece of art I have ever put on the internet!

Timon the meerkat is looking into the same pool that Simba looked into in the movie.

I'm guessing that Simba must have told Timon about it some time after the events of the movie, and Timon wanted to get some answers to life's questions, too. But it doesn't look like he's seeing anything, not even his own reflection. Poor guy. Life's mysteries must be too much for him.

I drew this in about 2-3 hours, not counting the time I had to wait while the paint dried between painting touching sections. It's done in pencil and watercolor, with White-Out for the fireflies that got stuck in that big bluish-black thing.
